Pastor Ray
Pastor Ray Voran came to our church in July, 2012 and loves being part of a congregation where everybody knows your name. As a second career Pastor, he earned his MDIV from Evangelical Theological Seminary in 2009. Pastor Ray enjoys preaching sermons that teach Biblical truths and how they apply to our lives today. Working in youth and young adult ministries has given him the desire to reach the many folks in our society who are facing difficulties and often struggle to see any hope. He stresses personal spiritual growth so that the church may grow as well.
Pastor Ray and his wife, Valerie, live in Brownstown. They have a daughter, Sara, who is married and has a child; and a son, Ben, who is married and has children. They both also live in Brownstown. Ray and Val enjoy traveling, reading, and spoiling their grandchildren. Ray also enjoys watching sports and the food network on TV. (He's the head cook for the Community Dinners)
